Italian President Giorgio Napolitano and his wife on Monday visited the Citadel in central Amman and were briefed on the most important monuments which abound in the archaeological site. A number of Italian tourists who were visiting the place gathered to greet the President. Napolitano and his wife were accompanied by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Nayef Al Fayez and his wife and the Italian delegation.
