King Abdulla II of Jordan today met US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta and discussed Mideast developments, particularly the current situation in Syria. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and means of promoting cooperation. The US Defence Secretary is on a regional tour, which included Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan and Israel.
