Kazakhstan parliament delegation arrives in Belarus

A delegation of the Kazakhstan Parliament led by Nurlan Nigmatulin, Chairman of the parliament's lower chamber, has arrived in Belarus, representatives of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus told the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, BelTA.

The next day Mr. Nigmatulin is expected to meet with Prime Minister of Belarus, Andrei Kobyakov, and Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Vladimir Andreichenko. He is also expected to read a lecture in the Belarusian State University.

The press service of the lower chamber of the Belarusian parliament noted that negotiations between Mr. Nigmatulin and Mr. Andreichenko are expected to touch upon a large number of matters, including inter-parliamentary cooperation, cooperation in trade and economic affairs, the improvement of the legal base, and the operation of Belarusian-Kazakh assembly enterprises in Kazakhstan.

The practical advancement of Belarus-Kazakhstan bilateral relations is guided by the 2017-2018 intergovernmental action plan. The roadmap spans all the spheres of interaction, including trade, and economic relations, relations in science and technologies, culture, humanitarian affairs, regional affairs, and other matters.
