A Costa Rican diplomat kidnapped in Venezuela has been released by his abductors and is in good health, Venezuelan officials said. Commercial attache Guillermo Cholele, 59, must now undergo a debriefing by police and a medical examination, El Universal of Venezuela reported Wednesday. Cholele was abducted Sunday night when he returned to his home in northeast Caracas. Enrique Castillo of Costa Rica\'s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said a ransom was not paid to obtain his release. Castillo said his ministry is waiting for more information about the abduction from the Venezuelan government.
