Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov vowed Thursday that his country will block any attempt for foreign intervention in the Syrian affairs. The UN Security Council is unlikely to sanction such an intervention, Interfax news agency quoted Lavrov as saying. He added that he guarantees that there will be no intervention under Chapter VII of the UN Charter.
