A Lebanese man was wounded by gunfire Monday as he was skiing on the Lebanese side of Jabal al-Sheikh, security sources told The Daily Star. Antoine Hajj, 40, was skiing with a group of people when a gunshot struck him in the shoulder. He was immediately transported by the Lebanese Red Cross to a hospital in Rashaya. It has not been determined whether or not the gunshot emanated from the Syrian side of the border.
