Military Prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr Monday charged six people with forming an armed gang aimed at carrying out terrorist acts and manufacturing explosive material. The six, five of whom are detainees while the other is still at large, were also accused of possession and transportation of arms. The detainees’ case was transferred to Investigative Military Judge Fadi Sawan. Judicial sources told The Daily Star that the six are the group who were arrested earlier this month in the Mount Lebanon area of Rmeileh. During a raid on a private residence in Rmeileh earlier this month, the army arrested three suspected terrorists, including Alaa al-Jabiri, a Palestinian residing in Lebanon. The raid netted a stash of weapons, including over 1,200 fuses, including electric and Israeli-made landmine fuses, as well as Russian and U.S.-made anti-personal mines, Israeli-made mortar bombs and 21 grenades. The haul also included 47 blocks of explosives – some weighing up to 500 grams – and assorted firearms. Last week, the army raided Jabiri\'s house, also in Rmeileh, and seized a computer as well as seven cell phone lines. From: The Daily Star
