The Russian ambassador in Vilnius has been given a protest note concerning an incident of a Russian fighter jet allegedly entering Lithuanian air space. According to the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, a Russian Su-27 fighter violated the country’s air space, entering 12 kilometers inside of its territory, before turning back and returning to Russia’s exclave Kaliningrad region.
