Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman on Saturday expressed his country's concern over the escalating violence and the growing number of fatalities in Syria. Aman also called on the international community to pay more attention to the Palestinian issue, which, he says, affects the whole world. A foreign ministry statement published by Malaysian news agency (Bernama) pointed to the necessity of taking steps to solve the Palestinian issue, noting that what is more critical is that Israel realizes that the Arab Spring has changed the dynamism of the Middle East, and that Israel must change accordingly.
