Hamas chief Khalid Mashaal met Saturday with the head of the Egyptian intelligence services, Murad Muwafi, and discussed the latest on the reconciliation agreement with Fatah. Mashaal's delegation also met with former US president Jimmy Carter, who was in the region as part of Egypt's elections monitoring, a member of Mashaal's office, Izzat al-Rishq, wrote on Facebook.
