The four Moroccan Nationals injured in the bloody terrorist attack that hit Istanbul on Saturday night expressed on Tuesday their gratitude to King Mohammed VI for the high solicitude granted by the Sovereign.
They also asked the Moroccan Ambassador in Ankara, Menouar Alem, who was accompanied by the Moroccan Consul in Istanbul Mhamed Ifriquine, to convey to the Sovereign their feelings of gratitude and their unwavering attachment to the glorious Alawite throne.
King Mohammed VI decided to pay for the remains transfer of the Moroccan nationals who died in the Istanbul terror attack in addition to health care for the Moroccans wounded in this attack.
On Tuesday, Alem and Ifriquine visited the various hospitals where Moroccan nationals were admitted following the attack in order to inquire about their condition.
Alem told MAP that this visit was made in accordance with the high royal instructions to inquire about the health condition of those injured and expressed his thanks to the officials in charge of these hospitals for their efforts to provide the necessary care to the victims.
The Moroccan embassy in Ankara and the Kingdom’s consulate in Istanbul set up a crisis cell in contact with the competent Turkish authorities to assist victims and their families.
