Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow is proposing to postpone discussions on the future of Syria's President Bashar al Assad.

Demands for Syria’s president to step down restrict perspectives for political settlement in this country, Russia’s RIA news agency on Monday quoted Ryabkov as saying.
