Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov

Moscow unveiled that a new round of talks between Russian and US experts on coordination in the fight against Daesh terrorists in Syria will start in Geneva on Friday.

According to Russia Today TV channel, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said military experts will continue to compare available maps regarding the terrorists’ posts in Syria.

Talks are aimed to separate the areas held by Al Nursa Front from other areas under the control of the so-called moderate Syrian opposition, Gatilov noted.

Yesterday, Al Nusra Front announced its split from al-Qaeda and renamed itself Jabhat Fatah al-Sham.
