Khaled Al-Duwaisan, Representative of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Kuwait\'s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, has affirmed necessity of preserving Kuwait with national unity and solidarity among all segments of the society.\"I have repeatedly affirmed during my meetings with you the necessity of preserving our dear homeland, for this country has given us a lot and has enabled us enjoy prosperous and secure life under the sagacious leadership,\" said Al-Duwaisan in part, in an address at inauguration of the 47th convention of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (branch of the United Kingdom and Ireland), late on Sunday.The State of Kuwait, with the abundant bounties granted by His Almighty, has furnished the people with all needs for living, such as free education, medical treatment and jobs, said Al-Duwaisan, praising the government development schemes, that would secure many jobs for the citizens.Kuwaiti nationals, over the past 20 years, affirmed their solid loyalty to their homeland and solidarity with their leadership. They also succeeded in rallying international support for their cause, liberation from the Iraqi occupation.\"The world now eyes with admiration this people that is small in number but great in will,\" he said, noting the Kuwaiti people success in liberating their country and rebuilding it after liberation.The world had anticipated that extinguishing fires at oil installations that had been set alight by the occupiers would last for five years, however, the patriotic Kuwaitis succeeded in putting out the blazes in only seven months.Turning to another level, the veteran diplomat shed light on Kuwait\'s noticeable aid for needy nations particularly at times of crises and catastrophes. These humanitarian efforts have also drawn appreciation of nations of the world.He praised His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, dubbing him the \"dean of diplomacy in the world,\" for his prime role in enhancing Kuwait\'s friendly ties with the other nations.Al-Duwaisan also hailed the level of the Kuwaiti-British ties labeling the Britons \"as real friends for Kuwait.
