Israeli Prime Minister called Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday to thank him for sending fire trucks and firefighters to help extinguish the fires in Israel, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Netanyahu also spoke of his appreciation that both Jews and Arabs opened their homes to victims of the fires.
