Italian Defense Minister Roberta Pinotti denied media reports fanned about the presence of Italian military or intelligence personnel in the Libyan territories, stressing that Italy does not intend to carry out military interference in the Arab country.

In press statements on Monday, the minister said that Italy is ready to offer help to the Libyan legitimate government by sending an international mission to achieve stability.

Pinotti underscored that the military intervention will lead to reconciliation between the Libyans, adding that forming a Libyan national unity government is an essential matter.
