Islamabad - QNA
Pakistan's Justice Movement (PTI) will hold demonstrations Thursday protesting a parliamentary resolution approving the reopening of NATO supply route to Afghanistan via Pakistan, movement leader, Imran Khan said. Addressing a press conference at the movement's central secretariat, Imran said the parliament's recommendations were not kept in view while giving a go ahead for NATO supplies to move into Afghanistan. Meanwhile, he said the Parliament was of no use and it should be dissolved over the approval of this resolution. "Members should have resigned from the Parliament after the resumption of NATO supplies if they possess dignity and honour," Imran said. He said the (PTI) had consistently opposed participation in a war on terror for the last 10 years. According to Pakistan's news outlet, (The Nation), Imran also announced the movement would hold another demonstration on July 14 in Peshawar against the reopening of NATO line.
