Palestinian Minister of Prisoners' Affairs Issa Qaraqe said Palestinian prisoner Abdul-Azim Abdul-Haq has terminated his open-ended hunger strike which lasted for 75 days in protest against division and for the sake of the Palestinian reconciliation. In a press statement today Qaraqe said Abdul Haq, detained in Gilboa prison, responded to calls of national forces and institutions to end the strike in order to maintain his health and in appreciation of his heroic and responsible national stance, aiming to put pressure on all parties to end division and achieve national reconciliation. Abdul Haq and ten other prisoners entered an open-ended strike in support of national reconciliation  under the slogan 'Palestine for all' and  appealed to all Palestinian factions to make efforts to turn the page division.
