Palestinian gunmen fired a rocket into southern Israel in Al-Naqab (Negev) area injuring an Israeli, said Israel radio on Saturday. The rocket slammed into a building in Sha'ar Hanegev region, which caused massive damage, as well as wounding one of the residents, the radio added. It described the wounds as severe. A military spokesman was quoted by Israeli radio as saying that civil defense and medics rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a hospital in Ashkelon. Meanwhile, at least 10 rockets were fired into Sderot area that landed in an open field, without causing any injuries or damage, according to the radio.
