The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has called for the rejection of the meeting scheduled between Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or any Israeli government representatives, asserting they do not serve the national cause. The PFLP considered the meetings to be an attempt to cut the international movement in the direction of the UN and its organizations in recognition of a Palestinian state, thwarting efforts to end the division, and retrieving the confrontation unit as well as the national resistance to the occupation and its goals.
