Minister of Planning and Administrative Development Ashraf El-Araby held talks with World Bank's officials to discuss promoting cooperation.
An Egyptian delegation arrived in Washington to hold a raft of meetings with WB officials to discuss Egypt's pioneering expertise for social protection program.
Araby met with Keith Hansen, Vice President for Human Development, Merza Hasan, World Bank Group Executive Director for Arab region, Shantayanan Devarajan, the Chief Economist of the World Bank's Middle East and North Africa Region, Gustavo Demarco, Senior Economist and Human Development for MENA.
The talks are meant to review the social protection program in order to achieve the maximum social security for beneficiary.
On the sidelines of the visit, a seminar held to discuss the pioneering expertise of Arab countries in the field of social protection.
The seminar shed light on Egypt's government efforts in the field of social protection and Egypt sustainable development plan "Egypt 2030."
