Russia's Vladimir Putin congratulated Monday the newly elected French President, Francois Hollande, and said he was ready to work with him, as reported by Itar-Tass news agency. "French citizens have put their trust in you to lead the country at a critical and difficult time," Putin's cable to Hollande read. Putin, who took the oath as Russia's president today, said he was ready for "dynamic work" with Hollande.
