Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar met here today the President of the Republic of the Philippines Benigno S. Aquino III. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, prospects of boosting cooperation between the two countries in all fields, and a number of other issues of common concern. Following the meeting, the Emir and the President witnessed the signing of an agreement for the formation of a joint businessmen council between the two countries\' Chambers of Commerce and Industry as well as a number of Memorandums of Understanding.
