Gaza - Ma'an
Border authorities will close the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza on Monday and reopen it the following day, officials said Thursday. Pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia will be able to travel on Tuesday, the border authority said. On Wednesday Maher Abu Sabha, general director of crossings in Gaza, said work at the crossing would slow down for 24 hours due to computer malfunctions on the Egyptian side. Only around 150 people left Gaza through the crossing on Wednesday, Abu Sabha said. Most days, between 700 and 800 people cross to Egypt, he added.
