The Russian Foreign Ministry announced Monday that a series of consultations held by the Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov stressed the importance of uniting the international efforts to combat terrorism.

During the consultations, the two sides expressed their satisfaction over the volume of bilateral relations, Russia Today quoted a statement issued by the ministry.

Moscow and Doha are keen on promoting joint cooperation in various fields and implementing the agreements inked between them during the visit of Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad al Thani in January 17-19.
