South Korea on Monday \"strongly\" condemned the latest mass killings by the Syrian government forces in a village in central Syria, calling on the regime of President Bashar al-Assad to immediately stop the use of violence against civilians. \"The Korean government strongly condemns the mass killing of civilians by the Syrian government forces through the indiscriminate bombardment of populated areas using heavy weapons, including tanks and helicopters, in the village of Tremseh near Hama, Syria, on July 12,\" the foreign ministry said in a statement quoted by Korea\'s Yonhap news agency.
