South Korean President Lee Myung-bak will make a four-nation Latin American trip next Sunday to Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Colombia. According to the Office of the South Korean President, Lee is due to attend the G20 summit in Los Cabos, Mexico, on June 18 and as well as Rio+20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on June 20. The South Korean President plans to discuss with other world leaders tackling the Eurozone fiscal crisis, coordination of macroeconomic policies, strengthening the international financial system, and other issues during the G20 summit. Lee also plans to conduct a three-day visit to Chile to discuss means of bolstering relations between the two countries and a four-day visit to Colombia starting June 23 making him the first South Korean president to visit the country.
