Bahraini regime forces have detained a human rights activist in the country\'s capital Manama, Press TV reported. Nabeel Rajab, the head of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights, was arrested by Al Khalifa\'s security forces on Saturday as he tried to join a protest rally calling for the release of another human rights activist, Abdulhadi al-Khawaja. Witnesses say Bahraini forces attacked protesters, beat them and used tear gas to disperse the crowd. Rajab is reportedly being held at a police station in Manama.
