Hebron - WAFA
A number of Israeli settlers from Beit Ain, an illegal settlement built on land belonging to the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, Monday uprooted dozens of trees in an area north of the town, said a local activist. He said the settlers were trying to force the residents to leave their land in to order to take it over and expand their colony. Mohammad Awad, from the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements, said the settlers uprooted for the 10th time in three years several olive and grape trees in a land belonging to Hamad Salibi and his brothers.
