Pakistan's security authorities carried out targeted operation in Orangi Town area of the metropolis on Tuesday night, detaining several suspects, sources said. The sources said that the operation was launched in Aligarh Colony, Banaras Chowk and Bukhari Colony areas of Orangi Town, according to Pakistan's (Geo) News. Pakistan's security authorities sealed the entry and exit routes of the areas before the operation. Sources said that the operation took place following the killings of two Rangers personnel in Aligarh and Banaras. More than two dozens suspects were apprehended during the operation who were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
