Israel's internal security service says a Palestinian Authority intelligence officer and two Red Crescent employees are among 13 people detained on suspicion of trying to attack Israeli soldiers, Israeli media reported Monday. The Shin Bet service says 13 residents of Amari refugee camp have been arrested over an incident on Jan. 20 when shots were fired at Israeli soldiers during a raid on Ramallah, the Israeli daily Haaretz reported. No one was injured in the shooting attack, the report said. The Shin Bet said the suspects planned other attacks on Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, the report added.
