Shoukry, Kerry discuss cooperation in Paris

Meeting on the sidelines of the Paris conference on the peace process, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his US counterpart John Kerry discussed Friday means of boosting bilateral cooperation, as well as regional issues of mutual concern.

Speaking to MENA after the meeting, Shoukry said Egypt and the US are capable of communicating and interacting with many parties and world powers.

The meeting also took up US efforts to support Egypt in the coming stage, especially in the economic field.

Shoukry will return home later on Friday after wrapping up his short visit to Paris.
