Francois Hollande & El Sisi

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said he discussed with visiting French President Francois Hollande the danger of the continuation of terrorism and the state of non-stability in the region, particularly in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Libya and Somalia.

Coordination in fighting terrorism becomes better than before, Sisi said, adding that Egypt's friends in Europe are well aware of the situation in the region and the importance of coordination with the region's countries.

There is a greater coordination with our French friends, the president said, stressing the importance of this coordination during the current stage as the non-stability in a number of countries will affect all parties, including European countries.

Replying to questions by members of the Egyptian-French Business Council, Sisi said that he warned Egypt's friends in Europe more than two years ago of the danger of the presence of foreign fighters in Syria as they may carry out terrorist acts in European countries.

The destruction of the army, security apparatus and state institutions in any country enables those terrorists from taking control of the state, Sisi made it clear.
