The majority of Palestinians support the neutrality of refugees at Palestinian refugee camps over the Syrian revolution, a survey by Palestinian news agency (Sama) has shown. The one-week survey gathered results submitted by 819 participants, 516 of them representing 63% of the total number of participants said they support the neutral stance adopted by Palestinian refugees. Out of the total number of participants, 283 representing 34.6% said they support the involvement of camp residents in the Syrian revolution while 20 representing 2.4% selected “I do not know.” According to the geographical distribution of voters, the voting percentage in Jerusalem’s 48 areas, and the occupied West Bank reached 46.7%, while it reached 49.3% in the Gaza Strip. The rest of the votes were distributed among various areas of the world.
