The Centre of Waste Management - Abu Dhabi, Tadweer, has organised an internal brainstorming workshop for its employees in order to come up with ideas, suggestions, and recommendations to develop the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance.

Eisa Saif Al Qubaisi, General Manager of Tadweer, said, "This workshop aims to reinforce the culture and values of excellence among our employees, motivating and supporting them to improve processes and services, and maximise competitiveness through innovation and excellence."

Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance plays a tangible and integral role in enhancing the government’s performance in accordance with the best practices, and promotes the innovation of new and unique working methods. Holding the workshop reflects the senior management’s efforts to spread the culture of excellence and engage Tadweer’s directors and employees in presenting their ideas and suggestions concerning the development of a better work system.

This workshop comes in line with the directives of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council that urge governmental entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to present proposals on the development of Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance to enable the award to help and improve the operations and processes of governmental entities by encouraging employees to innovate, excel and compete in their respective categories of specialisation.
