Thousands marched in Cartagena, Colombia, burning and stamping on a U.S. flag in protest of the exclusion of Cuba from the Summit of the Americas. The protesters, who were made up of students and trade union members, set fire to a U.S. flag as they marched to Cartagena's historic district, near where hemispheric leaders are meeting. Some protesters carried Cuban flags and chanted "Viva Cuba" while others chanted slogans against the presence of U.S. President Barack Obama in Colombia.
