Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan was Friday due to meet Khaled Mashal, the Syria-based leader of the Palestinian political party Hamas. Turkey’s state news agency Anatolian reported that the meeting was to take place at the premier’s office in Ankara at 2 pm (1200 GMT), but did not elaborate on the content of talks.
