Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to Iran next week to hold talks with Iranian officials, the premier’s office has announced. The office said in a statement that the visit will take place on March 28 and 29, IRNA reported. During his two-day state visit to Tehran, Erdogan will confer with senior Iranian officials on matters of mutual interest as well as regional and international developments. He will also inaugurate a new Turkish cultural center in Tehran. Erdogan will head to Iran after attending the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit in South Korea on March 26-27.
