UAE's new Ambassador plenipotentiary to Japan, Khalid Omran Al Ameri, has presented his credentials to Emperor Akihito of Japan.

During the meeting, the UAE Ambassador conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Al Amri stressed the UAE's keenness to strengthen friendship and cooperation relations with Japan in various fields, expressing his pleasure at representing his country.

Emperor Akihito reciprocated his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, wishing the Government and people of the UAE more progress and prosperity.

He also wished the UAE diplomat good luck and success in boosting the relations between the two countries in various areas.
