Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, today met visiting Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Ground Forces, Colonel-General Oleg Salyukov.

After Al Rumaithi welcomed the Russian Commander and his delegation, the pair discussed ways to promote and enhance bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two friendly countries.

They also examined avenues of coordination and cooperation between the UAE and Russia in military and defence spheres.
