Sharm El Sheikh

Hundreds of British citizen have signed a petition on the UK parliament’s website to demand removing a travel ban on Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh.

The petition was created by a citizen named Felix McMahon. It reads "We as British citizens demand the flight restrictions are removed from all UK flights to Sharm El Sheikh. We are willing to travel and have flights and holidays booked."

Over 1,700 citizens have signed the petition so far. Its deadline is May 18 May.

At 10,000 signatures, the UK government will respond to the petition and at 100,000 signatures, the petition will be considered for debate in parliament.
