U.N. Resident Coordinator for Lebanon Robert Watkins will head to the Bekaa border town of Arsal Thursday a day after Syrian forces briefly kidnapped a farmer and planted land mines along the eastern border. Watkins will arrive at 11 a.m. and meet with head of the Arsal Municipality Ali Hujeiri. The U.N. official is expected to make a statement following the meeting. Watkin\'s trip would be his first to the Bekaa region since his appointment in 2011.
