US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry and his accompanying delegation left Cairo Thursday concluding a two-day visit to Egypt as part of a regional tour which also took him to Israel. Kerry has met with Egypt’s ruler Field Marshall Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament Saad El-Katatni, Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr, and presidential candidate Amr Moussa. Meetings addressed regional and international affairs, the democratic transformation in the transitional phase Egypt is experiencing, the latest in the Egyptian arena, and bilateral relations.
