Washington - QNA
The US has voiced hopes over Pakistan resolving its political crisis on the dismissal of Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, in accordance with the country\'s constitution. \"We\'ve said all along that we expect that Pakistan will resolve any of these internal issues in a just and transparent manner in accordance with Pakistan\'s own laws and constitution,\" US Department of State spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said. Pakistan\'s Supreme Court disqualified Gilani from office on Tuesday two months following his conviction for refusing to open a judicial investigation on Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari\'s corruption accusations. Zardari has summoned a meeting of Pakistan People\'s Party (PPP) Central Executive Committee on Monday in attendance of Gilani and called on other party officials who are members of the government coalition for a meeting to discuss developments.
