Yemeni President Abd Rabu Hadi Mansour received Tuesday, at his temporary residence here, US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller to discuss bilateral ties and efforts exerted to bring about peace in accordance with the Gulf initiative.

Hadi asserted that the State is keen on accomplishing peace in Yemen along with establishing security and stability.

The Yemeni president lauded efforts of the US and international community aiming at achieving peace and stability in Yemen.

Meanwhile, Tueller lauded the Yemeni positive steps towards peace including the ceasefire.

The US will work on achieving peace in Yemen, he said, asserting the US's support for peace in Yemen on the basis of international resolutions.
