36 Staff Killed in Kabul Attack

The suicide attack near the Afghan parliament on Tuesday has claimed the lives of 36 parliament employees with dozens more wounded, Afghani news outlet Khaama Press reported. 
Afghan officials had earlier put the death toll at 38 and said over 70 were injured in the attack that took place when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive-laden vehicle in the vicinity of the parliament and another explosion followed as people gathered near the explosion site. 
Four policemen were also killed in the attack and at least four others were wounded, according to officials. The Taliban group claimed responsibility for the attack.
