The Interior Ministry held a wide-scale security campaign last month in various means of transportation .

During the security campaign nationwide, 20 gangs were arrested while 57 firearms and 113 cold steels were seized.

Also, 412 drug dealing and abusing cases, 32 public funds cases and 391 communications cases were handled.

Ten cases concerning attacking forces and officials, 6 cases concerning fraud, 12 cases on sabotaging and hindering transportation were also handled.

The campaign also led to the arrest of eight fugitives in various cases and execution of sentences ordered by courts against 63 criminal cases and 2,444 misdemeanor cases.
