Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohamed Badr el Din Zayed discussed here Tuesday with Lebanese Environment Minister Mohamad Machnouk Egyptian-Lebanese relations and means of boosting bilateral cooperation.
Besides tackling regional issues of mutual concern, the two sides took over latest political developments in Lebanon, a statement issued by the Egyptian embassy there indicated.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese minister underscored Egypt's leading role in the Arab region, especially in Lebanon.
For his part, Zayed asserted Egypt's keenness on maintaining Lebanon's stability and ending the presidential vacuum.
