A Yemeni military force split away from the Houthi militants and joined the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) in Taiz city.

The Yemeni military force escaped from the Houhi militants' camp in Al Hawban district after they refused to obey the Houthi fighters' orders to fight the PRC members and shell residential buildings, the state-run news agency quoted a source with the PRC as saying.
