One person died, two people were injured in a hurricane, which hit Rezekne region, Eastern Latvia, the state-run fire and rescue service of the Baltic republic reported on Monday. According to the republican service, the hurricane victims were in the car, on which a tree fell down. About 3,500 residents of the republic remain without power supply, the republican power utility said.
